dr Katarzyna Jagodzińska

Dr Katarzyna Jagodzińska is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of European Studies, Jagiellonian University, Kraków, and editor of architectural monthly “Architektura & Biznes”. For many years she worked at the International Cultural Centre (2005–2020), where throughout her career she was responsible, among others for PR and promotion, and production of cultural events. She graduated art history and  journalism and social communication. She is an expert in museum studies and cultural heritage. Author of four books, including two published in English, Art Museums in Australia (Jagiellonian University Press, 2017) and Museums and Centres of Contemporary Art in Central Europe (Routledge, 2020), and co-edited volumes, including The Power of Heritage. Socio-Economic Examples from Central Europe (with Joanna Sanetra-Szeliga, International Cultural Centre, 2017). Fellow in the Australian Institute of Art History, University of Melbourne (2014/2015) and at the University of Cambridge (2013).
