Prezes zarządu Miejskiego Przedsiębiorstwa Wodociągów i Kanalizacji SA w Krakowie. Od początku swojej kariery zawodowej, czyli od 2001 roku związany z Wodociągami Miasta Krakowa. Jest absolwentem Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego w Krakowie. Ukończył również studia podyplomowe z zakresu zarządzania bezpieczeństwem informacji oraz współczesnych koncepcji zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Przez lata pracy w krakowskich wodociągach skutecznie budował pozytywny wizerunek przedsiębiorstwa. Od lat współpracuje ze światem nauki, będąc przewodniczącym Komitetu Sterującego Małopolskiego Klastra Wodnego. Jest członkiem zespołu konsultacyjnego działającego w ramach struktur Izby Gospodarczej „Wodociągi Polskie” i uczestniczy w pracach nad nowelizacją ustawy o zbiorowym zaopatrzeniu w wodę i zbiorowym odprowadzaniu ścieków.
President of the Management Board of the Kraków Water and Sewage Company (MPWiK S.A.) From the beginning of his professional career in 2001 associated with the Kraków Waterworks. Started out at the company as a clerk, then gradually promoted to positions including: Manager of the Management and PR Office (simultaneously the press officer of MPWiK S.A.), Director for Organisation and Personnel Management, Vice- President of the Management Board – Managing Director, and the President of the Management Board since 1 Apr. 2017. Since 2017, has also served as Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Business Association of Polish Waterworks.
Piotr Ziętara graduated from the Kraków University of Economics. Has also completed postgraduate courses in information security management and contemporary enterprise management concepts. Has been systematically furthering his education in the operation of commercial code companies, the management, cooperation and coordination between the Company and its market environment as well as the cooperation between statutory bodies. Successfully built a positive image of the enterprise during his years of work at the Krakow Waterworks. Participated in implementing projects, deploying new IT and management systems and tools. Gained experience in managing human resources and the enterprise during crises.
For years, Piotr Ziętara has cooperated with the scientific community as the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Małopolska Water Cluster.
