Dotychczas byli to: Paulin Wojtyna, Janina Kraupe, Janusz Tarabuła, Stefan Gierowski, Leszek Misiak i Franciszek Bunsch.

Space for Art Ryszard Otreba – an exhibition
The Space for Art project is implemented in the galleries of three Krakow institutions: the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre, the Academy of Fine Arts and the GAP Artistic Agency at the University of Economics. This is its 7th edition. The initiator and supervisor of the artistic undertaking is Professor Jerzy Hausner, PhD. Its purpose is to familiarise the broader audience with the most outstanding living Polish artists and educators, coming from the Krakow environment. Until now they included Paulin Wojtyna, Janina Kraupe, Janusz Tarabula, Stefan Gierowski, Leszek Misiak and Franciszek Bunsch. Ryszard Otreba is the artist of this year’s edition. He is also associated with Wieslaw Dymny because he persuaded him to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. It is impossible to talk about Polish graphics of the second half of the 20th century, about its undeniable world success without mentioning the achievements of this Krakovian artist and Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. A remarkable and undeniable confirmation of this opinion is the presence of his works in the collections of such prestigious institutions as MoMA and the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Tate Gallery in London, the Galust Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon, the National Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo or the National Museum in Stockholm, not to mention Polish galleries and museums. Let us add to this dozens of individual and group exhibitions in the country and virtually all over the world, numerous artistic undertakings in which he participated or managed them, and countless awards, distinctions and honours.
