Od 1978 r., po ukończeniu studiów na kierunku budownictwo, związany z Politechniką Krakowską. Od 2013 r. kieruje Katedrą Budowy Dróg i Inżynierii Ruchu na Wydziale Inżynierii Lądowej PK. Przewodniczy także pracom Sekcji Inżynierii Komunikacyjnej Komitetu Inżynierii Lądowej i Wodnej PAN.
Jest autorem i współautorem blisko 150 publikacji poświęconych badaniom procesów ruchu drogowego, bezpieczeństwu ruchu i projektowaniu infrastruktury drogowej.
Since 1978, after completing the studies in the field of construction, associated with the Krakow Technical University. Since 2013, he has managed the Department of Road Construction and Traffic Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Krakow Technical University. He also chairs the work of the Communications Engineering Section of the Committee of Civil and Water Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
He is an author and co-author of nearly 150 publications devoted to the study of traffic processes, traffic safety and road infrastructure design.
