Dzień przed głównym spotkaniem w Centrum Kongresowym nadarzy się okazja do zapoznania się z jednym z naj- ważniejszych tegorocznych tematów. Będzie to początek cyklu spotkań przedkongresowych w MOCAK-u pt. Be for OEES, mającego wdrażać jego uczestników w problematykę każdej z edycji. W poniedziałek 18 listopada o godz. 18.00 w sali audiowizualnej MOCAK-u odbędzie się projekcja filmu Klątwa obfitości w reżyserii Ewy Ewart. Traktuje on o Inicjatywie Yasuní, nieco utopijnym projekcie ratowania amazońskiej dżungli. Wielkim atutem tego dokumentu jest spojrzenie na problem z perspektywy mieszkańców Ekwadoru. Po pokazie do dyskusji zaprosimy reżyserkę filmu oraz b. Ministra Energetyki i Górnictwa Ekwadoru Alberta Acostę. Rozpocznijmy kongres od poruszenia zagadnienia dotyczącego całego świata, ponieważ gdyby udało się zrealizować tą dosyć utopijną wizję uratowania puszczy amazońskiej, mieszkańcy całego świata mogliby odnieść z tego korzyści!

The Curse of Abundance directed by Ewa Ewart – a film screening and a meeting with Ewa Ewart and Alberto Acosta The day before the main meetings at the Congress Centre there will be an opportunity to get acquainted with one of the most important topics this year. It will be the beginning of a series of pre-congress meetings at MOCAK entitled Be for OEES to acquaint its participants with the issues of each edition. On Monday, November 18, at 6.00 p.m., in the MOCAK audio-visual room, there will be a screening of The Curse of Abundance directed by Ewa Ewart. The movie deals with the Yasuní Initiative, a somewhat utopian project to save the Amazon jungle. A great advantage of this document is the insight into the problem from the perspective of the inhabitants of Ecuador. After the screening, we will invite the film director and Alberto Acosta, a former Ecuador Minister of Energy and Mining, to a discussion panel. Let us start the Congress with an issue that affects the entire world, because if that a little utopic vision of saving amazonian forests would become a reality, citizens of the entire world could feel a real difference!
